16 Fighters Make Up EA Sports MMA’s Heavyweight Division

Madden launch week is probably not the best time to drop pre-release hype for your sports game, unless you’re EA Sports MMA. Those guys will take on anyone, anywhere, anytime.

EA’s mixed martial arts title, also developed by EA Sports Tiburon, will include 16 fighters in its heavyweight division. By comparison. UFC Undisputed 2010 had 20 (up to 25 with pre-orders and exclusive PS3 fighters).

I guess the benefit of not going with ufc is you get access to great fighters not tied to the specific franchise.
