Aussie Nintendo Store: Rolling With The Furries

You’re in luck if you own a Wii this week! The same can not be said if you own a DSi however. There are no DSiWare games this week. Europe is getting three, though, but as we’ve seen in the past, none of them are making the trip over.

Good news is, we are getting another Virtual Console game. The streak continues.

Virtual Console

Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory (900pts, NEOGEO, D4 Enterprise) – The oft forgotten NEO GEO library gets a boost this week with another Fatal Fury game. Unlike the second game this actually has a bunch of new content rather then just being a upgrade.

WiiWare

Furry Legends (1000pts, Gamelion Studios) – A rolling platformer is nothing new, but none of those were called Furry. Yes, giggle all you want but it’s actually not too bad, it just has a few physics issues. The graphics, though, are beautiful and lush. There are three furballs to control as you roll around five levels. It’s not just a pure platformer either; there are people to battle and puzzles to solve.

A Monsteca Corral: Monsters Vs. Robots (500pts, Onteca) – At first glance this looks just like Pikmin, and really it does play a lot like it. The game focuses on creatures called Stompies, little weird looking orange guys that you must control to feed gas to the Astromaggot. There is of course, evil robots preventing you from achieving this.

We miss out on Hospital Havoc, Primose and 3D Mohjong for DSiWare. However, there is some good news on a long awaited DSiWare game, well it might be. Nintendo says Shantae: Risky’s Revenge is coming and it’ll be out “in the holidays.” So, only three or four months to go then.
