Penny Arcade’s Episodic Adventures Live On In With The Written Word

Followers of Penny Arcade’s foray into game development may never see the last two chapters of their Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness come to video game form. But the series will continue, if only in text.

Penny Arcade’s Jerry Holkins unveiled the beginnings of Penny Arcade Adventures: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness Episode Three earlier this week, the best bet players will have for seeing the planned four part series wrap up. Holkins writes that On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness will update “on Tuesdays, more if I can, but always on Tuesday.”

The developer of the first two chapters of Penny Arcade Adventures, Hothead Games, moved on from the creation of that now-canned episodic series to develop the recently released DeathSpank.

Well that’s a shame, I really liked the games. Still, glad they’re at least going to finish the story.

Never picked up the PA games, I intended to buy the inevitable bundle pack. Guess it wasn’t so inevitable after all…
