Yes, according to Goichi Suda, the man behind games like Killer 7 and No More Heroes, the biggest booze hound of the Japanese scene is not Dead or Alive creator Tomonobu Itagaki, who we presume drinks only scotch, and drinks it slowly.

No, he says its Toshihiro “Brown Man” Nagoshi, of Yakuza and Monkey Ball fame, who “drinks wine A LOT – like really, wow”. Hardly conclusive, objective proof of champion status, but this is drinking we’re talking about here, not the world land speed record.

So there you have it. He loves a tanning booth, he loves rip-off track pants, he loves a glass of wine. And in turn, we love him.
