Best Buy’s product page for the fancy edition of the game says that alongside Black Ops itself, a theme and a medal, buyers will also receive “Four Zombie Maps Pack made famous from COD: World at War”.
Being a retail listing and not an official proclamation from Activision, it’s unknown whether there will be more zombie maps available for other consumers, nor how the Second World War setting of these original maps would translate to a game set during the Cold War.
We’ve contacted Activision for clarification, and will update if we hear anything back.

[Best Buy, thanks everyone who sent this in!]

Friday, August 13, 2010 at 10:42 PMLiterally, there were only two reasons my mate and I decided to go half each to buy CoD:WaW. It was $20, and it has Nazi Zombies. Excellent. Maybe next year when Black Ops is cheap, we’ll pick it up again :)
