And The World’s Best PES Player Is…

Last week, Konami announced that for the first time, the finals of their global Pro Evolution Soccer tournament would be streamed live on Ustream. In a way, with all 40 competitors from 23 countries being flown to Mallorca, they were all winners already. But in a more another, more accurate way, only one was the winner.

PESFan.com had forum coverage of the event and reported that after some intense action involving the UK PES rankings champion The Greek, it was Portuguese player Christopher who came out on top after defeating Ettorito.

The stream, which went live 1am Sunday morning (EST), featured select matches from the tournament, as well as highlights. And for an idea we hope continues, Konami representatives made visits to the Ustream channel chat room to answer questions.

You can watch the final here.
