God of War: Ghost of Sparta sneaks past our rating system with a grin on its face this week, bringing more beheadings to our PSPs, while Blacklight: Tango Down acquires a similar MA15+ rating, promising us digitally distributed disintegration.
Retro Studios, makers of the Metroid Prime series, are behind Donkey Kong Country Returns, and it looks like Cabela’s next hunting game might be a little bloodier than usual, picking up an MA15+ rating as opposed to the Big Game Hunter series’ standard M.
And it looks like the next Alien Breed game is bringing its naming system in line with overseas, officially Alien Breed: Assault instead of the Alien Breed 3 of two weeks ago.
Here’s what was rated last week:
God of War: Ghost of Sparta (Ready At Dawn) MA15+
Cabela’s Dangerous Hunts 2011 (Activision Blizzard) M
PDC World Championship Darts: World Tour (Rebellion) G
Alien Breed: Assault (Team17) M
Donkey Kong Country Returns (Retro Studios) G
Dood’s Big Adventure (Rainbow Studios) G
Pictionary (Imaginengine) G
Premier Manager (Urbanscan) G
U Draw Studio (THQ) G
Blacklight: Tango Down (Zombie Studios) MA15+
Cabela’s Bloodhunt 2 (Activision Blizzard) MA15+
Faxanadu (Hudson) G
Harvest Moon: Grand Bazaar (Marvelous) G
The Biggest Loser Ultimate Workout (Blitz Games) G

Monday, September 20, 2010 at 6:53 PMI have the feeling Ghost of Sparta will be my PSP’s swan song, just like GoW II was for the PS2. I do hope they announce a PSP2 soon, I like my PSP but there just aren’t enough games coming out that’ll keep me interested!
