GameStop Is Working On Its Midnight Moves

The PlayStation Move goes on sale tomorrow, but select GameStop stores are staying open late to let customers get an early start on Sony’s new era of motion-controlled gaming.

We’ve seen midnight openings for games and midnight openings for consoles, but it’s quite rare to see a retailer open late to sell a new peripheral. GameStop might only be holding midnight launch events for the Move at 440 locations in the US, the fact that they’re opening up stresses the importance of both Sony and Microsoft’s motion controlled console updates.

Or how badly GameStop wants to make sure you don’t end up at Walmart tonight.
