Radiant Silvergun, the spiritual progenitor of Ikaruga, is coming exclusively to the Xbox 360 next year, Microsoft said at its Tokyo Game Show news conference. The title is being developed by Treasure, the original studio behind both games.
Radiant Silvergun, an arcade favourite brought to the Sega Saturn in 1998, will feature online cooperative play and improved graphical fidelity on the Xbox 360. It was one of five titles coming out next year under exclusive partnerships between Japanese developers and Microsoft. Other titles included Fire Pro-Wrestling from Spike. Kinect-enabled exclusives included Haunt from Masaya Matsuura, the creator of Parappa the Rapper and Vib Ribbon; Project Draco, from the studio Grounding Inc.
