First made public in early 2008, Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami and No More Heroes designer Goichi Suda have teamed up with EA on a new game. According to Japanese game mag Famitsu, that game has a title.
The Mikami/Suda project will be titled “Shadows of the Damned”, or rather “Shadows of the DAMNED” (their caps, not mine). Due out next year, Shadows of the Damned is slated for release on the PS3 and the Xbox 360.
In August 2008, EA stated it would be releasing a horror game designed by Suda and produced by Mikami. At the time, the game was slated for the PS3, the Xbox 360 and the Wii. Q Entertainment, the studio behind Lumines, was mentioned as being involved with the title’s development.
When asked why Suda and Mikami were working with EA on this game, Mikami jokingly replied, “Money.”

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 3:15 PMEA are doing things for gamers rather then Activision who are only sticking with what they feel is safe. EA are trying new things and doing a good job of it. Like bringing out new ip’s and helping fund games that could be hit or miss. It’s a bit more risky for them, but John is an awesome guy trying to make games better rather then just making money like that slime ball Bobby.
