This PlayStation Move Ad Hits The Wii Right Where It Hurts

Only one thing can save you when a gargantuan Mii is chasing you down a deserted stretch of highway in the middle of nowhere.

This new PlayStation Move spot from the content creators/Wolf breeders at Wolfbreeder doesn’t beat around the bush. It’s a direct attack on the Nintendo Wii. I mean, it doesn’t get much more direct than physically shattering a representation of the competitor’s system with your new controller.

The PlayStation Move is shipping tomorrow. Are you getting one?

I think what was worse than the obvious “attack” on the Wii was the fact they used a After Effects tutorial style ending for the brand name.

Good pick up. Good quality After effects work, but not official.

I have a feeling this isn’t an official sony ad.

I was just thinking the same thing. There is no offical sony, playstation or ps3 labeling of any kind.

Ironically, it looks more like an Xbox 360 avatar than a Mii – likely in part due to the shading used.

I think it was a Mii and an XBox avatar fused together…

So he had to jump around like a spaz to make any effect, and I think I saw some a bit of ‘waggle’ going on there.
