It’s your proverbial slim pickings this month on the Censor Watch. Gran Turismo 5 gets its G rating, which is only interesting because it’s Gran Turismo 5. Test Drive Unlimited gets an M, which may be indicative of some possible saucy content.
Red Factions Battlegrounds, just in case you’re confused (like I was, because I had kinda forgotten about this one), is actually a top down strategy game that will be available for download on the PSN and Xbox LIVE.
Another notable entry is The Sly Trilogy – if you’re one of the precious few that happens to own a 3D television, you’ll be able to play through The Sly Trilogy on your PS3. It was on the receiving end of a PG rating. Bam!
Check out the rest below.

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 12:28 PMI’ve been replaying Test Drive Unlimited, it got a G rating despite being about dangerous driving through populated cities etc. I can’t imagine what they’ve added to the sequel to make it an M, I hope they haven’t done something stupid like trying to make it “sexy” by being all bimbos and strip clubs and yo yo gangsta pimps and hoes.

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:34 PMIt is set in Ibiza.
It probably is full of drugs, and ezy-jet hosties and neon glow sticks.

Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 12:11 AMI like the sound of that!
Thought I just looked at my games shelf and Burnout Paradise got an M rating for “moderate violence”, so…

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 9:04 PMIt wouldn’t surprise me. That kind of “gangsta” BS puts me way off. This gen it seems the only serious car games have been Gran Turismo Prologue/5, GRID, DIRT 1, and Test Drive Unlimited 1.

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 12:46 PMThe fact that Gran Turismo is being rated means it’s finished right? RIGHT?!

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 1:25 PMIt’s finished, but Sony want to impose hax0r-proof firmware which means that we’ve still got to wait…

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 2:48 PMIf that was true, so awesome!!! Perhaps Zombie Stig, seeing as he’ll be “killed off” soon…
Actually, the “G” rating is hard to understand, the amount of car porn in this game is staggering…

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:09 PMI recently bought a G27 to enjoy all of the current racing titles I have. It’s working.
As far as GT5 being rated goes, I could care less, just release the bloody thing already!!!!

Monday, October 18, 2010 at 9:06 PMHaha yeah I only just recently bought a second hand G25 (shut up I’m poorer) in anticipation for GT5. I’ve been unlocking cars on GT PSP like crazy to transfer over.
