A reader-forwarded email from Microsoft Game Studios indicates that Full House Poker aims to bring live poker to the Xbox Live masses. Regularly scheduled Texas Heat poker game shows will allow thousands of players to try and work their way up to the top table, while earning experience points and chips for their bankroll as prizes.
The email indicates that Xbox Live avatars will be playing at the tables, with unique tells and accessories available to bring each players’ personality to the table.
We’ve reached out to Microsoft Game Studios for confirmation of this email and will update should we receive a response.
1 Vs. 100 may be gone, but it proved that this episodic game model worked. Hopefully this is an indication that it’s legacy lives on.
