The Untold Story Of The Lord Of The Rings: War In The North

While the Fellowship of the Ring is slowly realising that everything would have gone much smoother had Gandalf called the eagles in the first place, a great evil stirs in Middle Earth’s Northern Reaches.

While I appreciate the attempt to inform players of the story behind Snowblind Studios’ The Lord of the Rings: War in the North, I find myself not particularly caring why there’s a human, an elf, and a dwarf fighting so far off the Hobbit-beaten paths. I just want another action role-playing game from the studio behind Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Champions of Norrath. The heroic three could be attempting to rescue the mystical Waffles of Gondor from Middle Earth’s first Wal-Mart for all I care. Gimme!

The Lord of the Rings: War in the North is due out next year for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
