The PSP sold another 96,000-plus units in Japan this week, the week before Monster Hunter Portable 3rd launches in the country. That’s a big boost from the 40,000 it sold a week prior. Considering the last PSP iteration of Monster Hunter went on to sell more than 4 million copies in Japan alone, that figure will likely be a drop in the bucket compared to what PSP hardware will manage next week.
To see how well the rest of the Japanese hardware line-up is doing, according to Media Create, check out the full numbers.
