In the latest issue of Famitsu, Nagoshi talks about his upcoming project, Binary Domain. The game differs from his previous titles in that not only it is multi-platform and sci-fi themed, but it also is an online game – with ROBOTS.
The Yakuza games are PlayStation-only affairs, while Binary Domain is headed for the PS3 and the Xbox 360. The reason for making the game multi-platform is Sega hopes the title will appeal to international players.
The game is set in Tokyo in the year 2080, and will feature high-level enemy A.I. and focus on making online fun for players. No word on when the game will release, but more details are expected in the near future.
