Indie Mega Hit Minecraft Gets Inevitable Merchandise

Minecraft just started down the road toward becoming a real live video game over the weekend, when it entered beta, but it’s already raking in the cash and now it even has official t-shirts.

ThinkGeek is now selling two officially licensed Minecraft shirts. The Minecraft Union shirt, pictured below, reminds us of the tenants of Minecrafting: Mine, Craft, Build. While the green Creeper shirt is perfect for startling the shit out of friends and family. Just don’t explode, that could ruin the party.

It was only “announced” over the weekend. It doesn’t actually hit beta until the 20th December.

The best Minecraft merch would have to be some kind of Minecraft Lego… Though one could argue Minecraft is already Lego.
