The Entertainment Software Rating Board, America’s classification outfit for video games, has a new iPhone (and Android) app out, and it’s surprisingly handy!
Taking advantage of your smartphone’s camera, it allows users to take a snap of the cover of a game off the shelf and be beamed not just a ratings description for the game, but a brief content summary as well.
That makes it useful for parents, sure, but also for everyone, given the highly entertaining nature of some of the Board’s descriptions.
