What Do These Boxer Shorts Mean?

Countdown clocks are boring, dull and blergh. But men’s boxers strewn on the Akihabara streets? Now this is something we can get behind.

Tokyo game studio Acquire, best known for Tenchu and Way of the Samurai, kicked off a new teaser site called “AKBstrip”. It features white and baby blue striped underpants. There’s a Twitter feed, too.

The site is a puzzle site (what could it all mean?), apparently teasing an upcoming title. And teasing with boxer shorts. Pity the fellow who is wondering around Akihabara sans underpants. Pity him.
