A Quick Look At Fable III Playing On The PC

We already knew that Fable III is coming to the computer, but Microsoft wanted to put worrying minds to rest but showing the game off in action at the Consumer Electronics Show today.

There’s no new information about pricing or a release date. And while the game looks slightly slicker, there’s not a huge visual different in the PC build we played around with a bit earlier today.

Regrettably, there are still no plans to bring Fable II to the computer.

Kotaku is on the ground at CES 2011 in Las Vegas, checking out all the show’s biggest news about video games, tech and whatever weird stuff we can find. Dig into our full CES 2011 coverage.

    Okay. Besides Halo 3/Reach, Gears 3 and Limbo, I no longer have a reason to own a 360. I even prefer to play third party on my PS3. Hardly seems worth keeping a system for a few games, but they are such big games. That and what the hell would I do with all the Live games I bought….

    People are acctually keen on playing this?

    Spoilers = It’s shit.

    I was a big fan of the original, it went downhill at 2 and and jetpacked down a crevass while wearing cement shoes straight into the the secret utopia of shitty game land when Fable 3 came out.

      A bit harsh, it’s an alright game. Overhyped to all buggery but it is alright.

        No, no. He’s quite correct. It’s god awful. I couldn’t even be bothered with a second play throuigh to be evil, at least 1 & 2 gave me a reason. This, no, never gain Lionhead.

          It definitely had it’s problems, my main one was the retarded countdown that made me believe I had more time than I did. WHO THOUGHT THAT WAS A GOOD IDEA.

          I enjoyed the rest of the game a whole lot though.
