On February 2, North American PlayStation 3 owners can try out the multiplayer side of Killzone 3 to see if that’s the shooter they should invest in. There’s only one map included in the free demo – “Frozen Dam” – but there will be four ways to play it. The multiplayer beta wraps up on February 14, the week before Killzone 3 comes to retail. In-depth details are available at the PlayStation.blog.
Make your decision quickly, for more shoot ‘em up content, like Crysis 2, Conduit 2, Homefront and F.E.A.R. 3 will be vying for your money one month later.

From the article Michael linked to, it’s usually a good idea to read all the info before jumping to conclusions…
Also, what other betas have there even been since the introduction of PS+?
