First Rule Of Capcom’s Fight Club: Talk About The 3DS

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 FIGHT CLUB (LA) from iam8bit Productions on Vimeo.

Here’s a stylish look at Fight Club, the celebration put on by iam8bit and Capcom last night that provided 1,500 fans a peep at Super Street Fighter IV on the 3DS, if they waited in line 19 hours.

Taking place last night, Fight Club’s admission line snaked around an entire city block in downtown Los Angeles’ scrap metal district. Attendees got to see the first public demo of the Nintendo 3DS in North America, showcasing Super Street Fighter IV: 3D Edition. Also on display was a “Classics Lounge” that boasted “a carefully curated selection of retrofitted arcade boards and sticks” for every Marvel/Capcom collaboration leading up to Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds.

Beats and performances for the evening came from DJ R-Rated, Miles Mosley and band, and surprise vocals by Mega Ran and Leeni.
