King’s Quest Finds A New Life

The long dormant King’s Quest series will soon get a new lease on life, thanks to Telltale Games. Add that classic Sierra franchise to Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, The Walking Dead and Fables on the long list of Telltale projects.

And add a few more to that too.

Telltale Games will also be releasing new Puzzle Agent games, including a port of the Professor Layton-inspired original game for the PlayStation Network and a proper sequel—Puzzle Agent 200for PC, Mac, iOS devices and PSN. The developer of (mostly) episodic games also has another project on its plate, releasing Hector: Badge of Carnage for the iPad, PC, and Mac.

Telltale’s take on the King’s Quest series will be a multiplatform effort, similar in execution to its handling of the Secret of Monkey Island franchise.

Man I hope this leads to Telltale redoing Police Quest and Space Quest as well… that would make my decade…

I wish Telltale Games weren’t doing it. I can already imagine it looking like shite and glitchy.
I hope they don’t touch Quest for Glory or Space Quest.
