We recently checked out Batman Arkham City during GDC and, to be quite honest, I was genuinely blown away by the game. Thankfully we now have a release date for the game, which will hit stores on October 19.
Batman Arkham City takes everything that was great about the first game and rebuilds it for an environment that has transformed in scope. Despite having a winning formula with Batman Arkham Asylum, Rocksteady Studios have had the brass balls to take some major risks with this franchise, and we think they’ve paid off in a major way.

Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 9:36 PMI was sceptical of Arkham Asylum at first because, let’s face it, the words “Batman video game” don’t exactly inspire Confidence in it. I mean, look at the Iron Man and Punisher titles. But, after I got the nerve to get AA, I was quite pleasantly surprised. Needless to say, kinda happy that this has a release date now! :D
