Burger Time Reboot Adds More Enemies From The Major Food Groups

BurgerTime, that lovable WTF acid-trip from the food-genre minifad of the 1980s [Food Fight, Pressure Cooker]is getting a high definition reboot, according to the ESRB. It’ll have more than an fried egg chasing your arse around, too.

The game will be released on all three consoles and the PC. It looks like a downloadable title.

Hazards like grill flames and “spikes traps” join carrots, apple cores and chili peppers as new features in Pepper Pete’s quest to deliver oversized hamburgers by walking all over their ingredients. The old bad guys were the egg and a couple hot dogs.

“The chef blinks and falls off-screen when hit; enemies react to damage with a ‘dizzying’ effect.” So it’s getting an E. Sorry, no grimmer, grittier Frank Miller’s BurgerTime for you.
