iTunes Indie Hit Sword & Sworcery EP Goes Universal This Week

Already released on the iPad, Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP makes the epic journey to the more popular iPhone and iPod touch platforms this week, thanks to a new update that magically transforms the Capy-developed game into a universal app.

That means the formerly iPad-only app will now work on your daintier iOS devices as of this Thursday, April 21. That thing is $5.99.

If you’re content to play it only on the iPhone and iPod touch, you’ll be able to purchase a version of Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP for your device for just $3.99 later this week as well.

The creators of the game say Sword & Sworcery was designed with the iPhone platform in mind, calling the smaller sized version “definitely ‘the way it was meant to be’.” They also suggest playing it on a iPhone 3GS or a more advanced version of that machine for maximum greatness.
