The Mother (known in the West as Earthbound) series of RPGs can be enjoyed by kids, but also have stuff specifically for adults. Just like a fairy tale.

And the illustrated front cover to a fairy tale is the first thing that springs to mind when I see this piece by Japanese artist Akira Miyazaki. Boy, what a fairy tale it would be, whether you were talking about the series itself or Nintendo’s stubborn reluctance to fully localise all the games within it!
