Take-Two updated the release window for Spec Ops: The Line today from fiscal year 2012 to first half fiscal 2013. In real world terms, that means sometime between April 1, 2012 and September 30, 2012. The game, announced at the end of 2009 and shown at last year’s E3, was originally scheduled for Take-Two’s 2011 fiscal year.
Spec Ops: The Line had an Xbox 360-only, multiplayer beta test last year.
Yager Development is planning to bringing Spec Ops: The Line to PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 9:09 AMI was in that beta test (first and second round).
It was buggy, but definitely not bad. With two years of polish on it since then it should be great – the multiplayer, at least.

Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at 11:52 AMI too was in the beta test, I played it once. Was very disappointed especially considering how good the demo’s looked from E3. The controls just felt way too heavy for a third person shooter.
