There’s Small, Then There’s This

Anime character Kyubey is an extraterrestrial being in the popular Puella Magi Madoka Magica that when killed, reappears and eats the dead remains. If you think that’s impressive, check out this Kyubey sculpture.

Someone with far more patience than me sculpted a Kyubey that can fit inside a ¥5 coin; for Americans, a ¥5 coin is about the size of a nickel. ¥5coins are 22mm across, and the centre hole has a 5mm diameter.

Puella Magi Madoka Magica debuted this past January, and finished its first 12 episode run last month. Computer game maker Nitroplus is doing a Puella Magi Madoka Magica novelisation. Sit tight for the inevitable game spin-off.
