3 More PlayStation Vita Tricks From The New Portable LittleBigPlanet

LittleBigPlanet for the PlayStation Vita does neat things with Sony’s new hardware, adding double touchscreen controls and gyroscopic tilt tricks to now familiar Sackboy jumping and swinging. But the Vita take on LBP is capable of more.

Media Molecule showed us the non-traditional platforming things Sackboy and LittleBigPlanet game creators can do with the next version in the form of three mini-games. The one you see above is a touchscreen-controlled one, in which you guide Sackboy in a bubble through spike and gear-laden courses. Touch the screen close to Sackboy to guide him slowly, further away to go faster.

The other two are takes on tabletop hockey (which you’ll see I’m terrible at) and a tilt-controlled game that uses touchscreen swipes to draw platforms, a la Kirby Canvas Curse for the Nintendo DS. See those videos in the gallery above.
