Every year Microsoft selects a handful of Xbox Live Arcade games it considers the very best the platform has to offer and releases them once a week as part of the Summer of Arcade promotion. With Ubisoft’s From Dust and Fuelcell’s Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet making the cut this time around, we’re in for one hell of a summer.
I’ll try to ignore Fruit Ninja for Kinect and focus on the bigger and brighter games, like the innovative From Dust, the gorgeous Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet, Supergiant’s action role-playing game Bastion, and Toy Soldiers: Cold War.
Four great games and an oddly popular iPhone port; I guess fruit slicing is in season or something.

So what’s the message here? Bring your TV to the beach/pool/BBQ?
Play games instead of going out and socialising?
A simple montage of game trailers is fine too…
