Fans combing over Capcom’s website following the announcement of Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3 have unearthed eight new character images that could very well be the rest of the update’s new lineup. Frank West? Iron Fist? Rocket Raccoon!? Yes, please.
This morning Capcom outed Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, debuting four of the 12 new characters coming in the November retail release: Ghost Rider, Strider, Hawkeye and Firebrand.
Now a reader named Joey directs us to a series of character portraits located on Capcom’s servers depicting popular Marvel and Capcom characters in the same style as those previously announced. Capcom fan favourites like Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney, Dead Rising‘s Frank West, and Resident Evil‘s Nemesis mingling with Marvel’s Iron Fist and Dr. Strange.
Are they legit? We’ve reached out to Capcom for comment. I can say I’d be completely satisfied with this lineup, and if there can’t be Squirrel Girl, Rocket Raccoon is a suitable replacement.

However, I gotta say, people asking for this to be DLC. Remember how Capcom charge AUS$7.50 for each character? well times that by 12 and you get AUS$90. Seeing as this is a budget title it’s RRP will probably be like $74.95 and most likely stores like JB will sell of for $69 or so. In the end it will be a tad cheaper.
That said I kinda wish they would stop with the re-releases.
