Once you get past the irresistible Lombax/robot dynamic, the most appealing aspect of any Ratchet & Clank game is the creative ways Insomniac Games comes up with for blasting enemies into their component nuts and bolts. Let’s look at four fancy new weapons coming in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One.
Insomniac capitalises on All 4 One‘s four-character feature to create weapons that work better with friends, adding a new layer of fun atop what was already a rather delicious fun sandwich, and who doesn’t enjoy a fun sandwich? Communists, that’s who.

I’ve played all the R and C games, but I have no intention of getting this one. I like playing solo, I don’t wanna play with friends.

I was actually looking forward to the next R&C outing. Not now dammit! Stupid brave new socialising world! I thought scifi had the future pegged as a place where we were all alone? Now we have to relate to a thousand people we barely know, probably haven’t met, and call them friends.

Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:33 PMI don’t mind it… Insomniac did 3 games on the PS2 and then made Gladiator, which wasn’t quite the same.
There has been 3 outings on the PS3 also, now they are making something a little different again.
I’d certainly prefer them to take their time when looking into a completely new story arc.
