Cosplay is not limited to just Japan or the United States, it’s a world wide art form. Meet the Chronic Candies, a Burlesque/Cosplay duo from Dublin, Ireland.
Earlier this month the girls appeared at Nom-Con 2011, the annual anime convention in Ireland, to show off their unique talents in full Final Fantasy VII garb. Obviously not safe for work, enjoy the talents of Tifa and Aerith.

I don’t think this has any real right to be called cosplay.

Friday, August 12, 2011 at 11:33 AMCosplay, short for “costume play”, is a type of performance art in which participants don costumes and accessories to represent a specific character or idea… This is definitly cosplay with burlesque elements thrown in. I can only assume you are not overly familiar with the burlesque genre.
