Full List Of Free Famicom Games For 3DS Owners

Back in July, Nintendo announced it was dropping the 3DS’s price from US$250 to $US170. To make it up to those who shelled out full price, Nintendo launched its 3DS “ambassador program”,

The program offers gamers 20 free games: half of them NES (Famicom in Japan) and the other half Game Boy Advance titles.

When the service was originally revealed, Nintendo stated folks could snag NES Virtual Console games like Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda.

Today in Japan, Nintendo released the full list of Famicom Virtual Console games: Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber, The Legend of Zelda, Wrecking Crew, Mario Open Golf, Yoshi’s Egg, Metroid, and Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.

Nintendo of America has not yet confirmed which NES titles will be available, but it’s highly likely that they will be localised versions of these games. Kotaku is following up.
