Let A Giant Mecha Show You Around

Bandai Namco is releasing a Gundam themed navigational app for the iPhone.

Users can selected Earth Federation or Republic of Zeon interface choices and voice guidance. You or your car is represented by a Mobile Suit or battle suit. The more you use the app, the more Mobile Suits you can acquire.

While using the app, you might pass enemies, and your Gundam Mobile Suit will engage them in battle, earning you points for destroyed enemies. There’s even leveling up, which allows players to get new Mobile Suits.

There are even score cards that allow users to track progress and battles. If keeping one’s eye on the road and following the navi wasn’t tricky enough, try battling giant mechas!

Gundam Navigation is a subscription based app that costs ¥3,500 (US$46).
