Glitchy Steam Version Of Dead Island Will Be Patched ASAP

In a statement to Kotaku, Dead Island publisher Deep Silver has apologised for the wrong version of the game being uploaded to Steam. The correct, patched version will be available as soon as possible. Check out the full statement here.

    Well, I guess its lucky then that we don’t get it till the 9th in Australia, fully patched up hopefully.

    Meh. Unless they’ve completely fixed everything that Mike Fahey pointed out in his article http://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/08/5-disappointing-things-about-my-first-hours-on-dead-island/ I won’t be getting this until it’s bargain bin priced. So I’m sure the right version will be available when I get it :P
