The Essence Of Zelda, In Just Eight Frames

The Legend of Zelda is a series that, over the years, has taken on a life of its own, developing a tone and depth to its universe not really present in any single game.

You’ll rarely see shit get as serious as it does in this image by Zac Gorman, for example. And yet, despite this, he absolutely nails the crux of Link’s single-handed struggle against Ganon, and Zelda’s ability to stay defiant despite the fact she spends the bulk of the series as a prisoner.

About 50 times more epic than Zelda actually is.
