Two more fighters are officially confirmed for next year’s most anticipated weapons-based fighter, Soulcalibur V: oversized axe-wielder Astaroth and a new contender, Viola, who has a touch of Freddy Krueger to her.
The giant Astaroth looks as he always does — a hulking executioner with yet another dramatic change of clothes and skin tone. His trademark axe is just as ridiculously massive as ever.
Viola wears little more than a claw, a frilly dress and some fancy shoes to battle in Soulcalibur V. But she’s also armed with a glowing orb, making her one of the more unusual characters in this cast of very unusual characters.
Soucalibur V is slated to hit the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 sometime in 2012.
