Fusion Genesis is meant to be a mix of a twin-stick shooter and a massively mulitplayer online game. But it felt more like a space combat game than an MMO.
The Starfire folks, all ex-Rare developers, explain that the game pulls in friends to populate your games so that you’re never gunning against just console-controlled enemies.
It’s a fun little twin-stick shooter, but it was hard to get a sense of what all was going on without having a lot more time with it.
