Crytek Is Looking At Flash Support

Here’s the beauty of competition. Earlier this week, Epic Games showed off the Unreal Engine 3 supporting Adobe’s Flash. Meanwhile, rival game engine maker Crytek is seeing what flash magic it can unleash.

“It is an interesting approach we’ve been investigating as well,” Crytek’s Carl Jones told Edge. “We’re developing a unifying technology to create high quality social and gaming experiences on all platforms including browser, smartphones, tablets, etc.”

Cryek’s CryEngine 3 was released in 2009. The company plans to make an announcement regarding its cross-platform Flash tech at a later date.
