If you’ve given up waiting for Capcom to announce a new entry in the Darkstalkers series, take solace in the fact one of the originals is primed for a re-release over the PlayStation Network.
Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors has been rated by the ESRB (T for Teen, for the record), clearing it for an upcoming release in the US as a PSone Classic on the PS3 and PSP. Look for it soon.

Saturday, October 29, 2011 at 8:41 PMusually when they do this it means a sequal is coming. Eg are Marvel vs. Capcom 2, street fighter 2, tekken (forget but it was before 6). This is just to build hype/reassemble the fans.

If you’ve got a PSP, the native version released back in 2005 is probably a better experience.
