David Hasselhoff Wants To Develop A Video Game (No, Really)

David Hasselhoff, probably for no reason other than the fact he is David Hasselhoff, figures a lifetime spent acting and singing at Germans has adequately prepared him for the role of video game designer.

Speaking with Reuters about Burnout Crash, the EA game which he’s recently been helping market, the 59 year-old said, “I’ve wanted to develop my own game so this was a way of seeing if this works and maybe we can take this one step further with using the same concept as Burnout Crash, and maybe do something with the Hoff.”

If that something involves Knight Rider, I’ll overlook that he’s referring to himself in the third person.

A Knight Rider videogame would be awesome.
Give the turbo boost a cooldown, or if its seperate levels, it should only be able to be used once per level.

A Knight Rider game will do better than NFS The Run, that’s for sure.
I also think it has the potential to undercut Driver by being what Driver used to be, only newer (in terms of gameplay capabilities) and with some unique features.

I think it would be LOL (and genius for selling the game) to have an online racing component (offer at least 25 cars from that era including KITT) where you can gamble windows live points (the ones you get for achievements).

Awesome. If it’s a racing game involving Knight Rider I’ll definitely buy it IF it has full support for the G27.

Echoing the sentiments about a Knight Rider game.

Make it set in the 80s (or whenever it was). Have it so that you can get out and explore as Michael, or drive KITT around between locations and accomplish missions either in KITT or on foot.

So yes, a free-roaming GTA-style Knight Rider game. But with Michael able to do all sorts of stuff too.
