Aussie Nintendo Store – Six Ones Edition

Kotaku AU

The Wii continues its drought but 3DS owners you get a some original content and an old timey game for some laughs. Why laugh? Because it’s not very good.

Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! (Nintendo -$9.00) If you haven’t heard of this one before you might know it by it’s previous name of Picture Lives! It was revealed all the way back at E3 2011 but as usual Nintendo didn’t tell anyone about it just put up some media assets. Freakyforms has you creating crazy and weird characters from scratch including their animations and personalities. Once created you can then set off and explore the world. The in-game world, not the actual world. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out.

Side Pocket (Game Boy – $4.50) There’s a few ways to enjoy a round of pool. At a bar with the rest of the bar flies or at home with your own table. Yes, Side Pocket will make you hate pool, it’s just far too dated to have any fun with it these days.

Anything for you my fearless 3DS owners?

Wow. 4 great releases in 1 year.

That should be enough to bring a console to it’s knees.

I didn’t hate Side Pocket when I used to play it… But I wouldn’t buy it now. There’s better pool games on smartphones.
