A Doctor Who video game is being developed for PS3 and PlayStation Vita, according to a teaser trailer that the BCC evidently published prematurely, then removed, on Thursday.
Entitled Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock, the text accompanying the video said that “Gamers can take on the role of the Doctor and River Song as they explore the universe of Doctor Who over multiple time periods.”
The game is being built by Supermassive Games, which was responsible for the “Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves” downloadable content for LittleBigPlanet 2. Logos at the end of the trailer also say the Doctor Who game will have a PC version.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:53 PMThe Dr Who game for Wii reviewed quite poorly, so hopefully this game does a bit better.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:11 PMAll the Doctor Who games so far have been pretty terrible so I hope this one is better.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:15 PMIs it just me or does it feel like “The Eternity Clock” has been mentioned in the show before?
Tempted to go back and watch all the River episodes again to see if she mentioned it while trying to establish her timeline with The Doctor.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 1:53 PMThe problem with that plan is you have to watch episodes featuring River Song, who is the worst and most obnoxious character in television history.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 3:40 PMThe only “problem” I have with this is that the 11th doctor is by far my least liked of the new doctors. 10th, 9th then 11th IMO. If they took it back to the 10th, there could almost nothing that could go wrong!
Also this series seems like a kid’s one so I’m guessing this game will be aimed more at kids than ever before….translation this game is going to suck

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 4:05 PMAs much as liked David Tenant as the Doctor. The Master and Rose story lines were dreadful.

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 4:50 PMVery true, however he was a better doctor and I think that if he had any of the 11th’s stories, he would have done a better job

Friday, December 9, 2011 at 5:32 PMI can name eight better doctors than Tennant. If we include Cushing, Martin and the various Doctors seen in ‘The curse of the fatal death’ the number grows…
