Does DOTA 2 Fan Art Get Better Than This? How About Sexier?

Stanley Lau is one talented artist. Kotaku previously featured him on Fine Art for his wonderful Street Fighter work. Today, it’s time to look at some stunning DotA 2 art.

DOTA 2 is, of course, the Valve-produced sequel to Defense of the Ancients (DotA), a mod of real-time strategy game Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.

Lau’s latest work is a series of DotA 2 heroines Lina, Crystal Maiden, Windrunner, and Drow Ranger. You can see them in the above gallery. Remember to click on each photo’s lower corner to expand the image to its full size.

In case you missed it, have a look at Valve’s Gabe Newell talking about making DotA 2 and this Fine Art of DotA 2 character art.

If you want to see more of Lau’s wonderful art, check out his Deviant Art page.

As Josué Pereira pointed out in NerfNow, this is the first Valve game with cleavage.

I’m rather fond of breasts, but I have to admit the size of these racks does seem a touch… “potentially impractical” and a little on the unrealistic side.

Sure, its fan art of a fantasy world and it is deliberately drawn in an idealized style. Nothing wrong with that in and of itself.

But one must wonder how the hell a fantasy world manages to have such supportive clothing. Antigravity magic perhaps?

That said, the two middle women look fantastic. The top one is a bit TOO excessively huge for my taste (bigger breasts =/= sexier breasts… case in point: Heidi Montag).

Note: When referring to the “middle women” I’m going by the vertical enlarged pictures (the Night Elf and the firey chick to be precise).

She is Traxex, the drow ranger based on DotA 2 design by Valve.

Does anyone else think that the second and the third images (top of the page), are just pictures of Katarina and Ashe from LoL fame?
