It finally seems like the 3DS has gotten its legs underneath it, even as the Wii’s glory days fade further into the rear view. But there’s an unspecified while yet until the Wii U hits retail shelves and Nintendo’s still got a bunch of software coming on the home console and handheld fronts. The company’s released a partial list of games that will be out in early 2012 and highlights include Kid Icarus: Uprising, Resident Evil Revelations and Rhythm Heaven Fever. They’re also announcing that the Circle Pad Pro will be available in the United States on February 7 for $US20.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 7:31 AMWould love to see a release schedule for the Virtual Console. The drip feed of mediocre games is starting to kill me.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 8:27 AMWell for one that doesn’t like Ninty mascot games looks like my Wii/3DS are going to be wanting besides a couple games well into next year.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 9:06 AMIs it worrying that the game I’m most excited for out of that entire list is VVVVVV?

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 9:20 AMThese definitely look like US release dates – as an example, Tales of the Abyss for 3DS came out here on November 24th because we got it ahead of the US release.
Is this post just missing the little US flag that used to appear on cross-posts from American Kotaku, or are you guys not doing those flags anymore?

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:01 AMYeah, you’re right.
Same deal with the NCIS game, I remember seeing that already.

Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 1:04 PMI’ve had a damn 3DS for under a month and I’m already starved for games (clocked Mario 3D, Zelda, Mario Kart, Rayman, Sonic, Ghost Recon) and I desperately need some more titles.
Kid Icarus is such an unknown quantity at this point, but it looks nice at least.
Rayman Origins mos def, especially if It’s as pretty as the console versions (I never got around to playing the Wii version but I assume it’ll be a port of that)
Resident Evil fer sure.
Snake Eater also fer sure. It was my favorite ps2 game ever and I would love to experience it again.
