Why are we still seeing multiplayer games that won’t allow Australians to play with each other?

Does the launch of SOL:Exodus inspire hope in a new TIE Fighter game?

World record 4th wicket partnership is 427. As of going to lunch, they were on 385. I’m excited.

When an executive producer leaves this late in the production cycle, it’s never a good sign :/

However, i’m giving Blizzard the benefit of the doubt here and remaining optimistic, as they’ve yet to make a bomb.

What Comic Hero would you most like to see get a good game?

Excluding any who actually have gotten a good game… Which rules out who? Batman and Spidey?

I tried playing Alpha Protocol, but the game was just bad… Weak shooting mechanics, very weak mini-games, unbearably boring story.

I was just playing to get to my first *headslam* moment.

I gave up after only an hour. Does this make me a bad person?

Headslam is only an option during the conversation in the bar in Moscow…

The game is a lot like the first Mass Effect, the mechanics improve as you add points to them. The first level (Saudi Arabia) is definatly the worst… if you can gut through it you may find you really enjoy the game.

It’s never going to be the greatest game ever made, but it has moments where you can see how fantastic it could have been.

Nope, I’ve moved on alphabetically on my Steam pile of shame and I’m now playing Bulletstorm and not looking back… Bulletstorm is awesome and aa rather under appreciated release from last year.

I’ve heard that there is a way to increase the 3D effect on a 3DS beyond that of the depth slider. If so, how?

There is a reference to it the the d-pad triggered enhanced 3d effect in a Kotaku article.

It’s a game-specific thing. In the case of SM3DL, there are top options that essentially amount to pop-out and… pop-in? One option kind of sets the screen as being level with the closest objects, while the other one levels it with the more distant objects. If that makes any sense.

The Resi Evil Revelations demo also has a setting in the options menu to change the strength of the 3D effect, though I think it works in a slightly different way. When turned up max, it seemed like the on-screen prompts were a lot closer than beforehand.

But yeah, just two options for Mario, mapped to d-up and d-down so you can change whenever you like.
