Folks, it’s not just a dream. Someday you will go through the rain. Someday you will feedon a tree frog. Someday you’ll be able to do all this on your 3DS and that date is March 8. The day Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is released on the 3DS. What a thrill!
It’s been difficult, this ordeal. This fight to survive, but March 8 is the day that we’ll finally see new light. To be honest, I’m still in a dream.

Everyone knows I’m a huge fan of the Snake Eater series. In fact, I’d give my life — not for honour, but for you (Snake Eater). It’s been a long time, and I’ve been searching and I’ll melt into your 3D remake. I’ll have a fear in my heart, because I’m not too sure about the gyroscopic controls, but still — you’re so supreme.

This is one of the greatest games ever made. It took an already great series in a new direction. I can't wait to replay it on a handheld!
You can play the better handheld version at a later date (on the Vita)! :P

Nope, but it won't need a gimmick and an additional analogue nub attachment in order to be played properly.
All trolling aside, the MGS HD Collection is definitely a better option when it comes to playing MGS3 on a handheld. But if you're not keen on buying a Vita, and are looking for something decent to play on your 3DS, you can't go wrong with this one.
I would myself, but do not want to pay $450-$500 just for one game with the Vita in AU
i cant imagine many people being keen on the vita. or owning an HD collection on it instead of PS3.

Got the HD collection already, it's a much better deal for a better price. The only good thing aboit this version is the ability to crouch and move.
