Yeah I've pretty much worked out that if anything is on crazy sale here, it usually means that the publisher has slashed the price worldwide such that it's on super-duper-round-the-twist-insane sale somewhere else in the world. e.g. Deus Ex PS3/360 was $38 online a couple of weeks ago from GAME, 10GBP~=$15 from Zavvi.
In short, even our sales are ripping us off :(

All they've said so far is that they are "looking into" solutions. I imagine (hope) they do free character transfers. Or heavily discounted. Or something. Infact, they should just send "The Switsure" and "Harbringer" over here.

I'm gearing up for a trip to Sydney this Sunday to watch the Apia International (Tennis :P). Should be fun! Last year (when it was called the Medibank International) was really cool, even though I didn't really see anybody I actually could recognise. That's what you get for going during Round 1, I guess...
It's funny though that the only sport that I am at all interested in watching (on TV or real-life) is the Tennis. Everything else just bores me for some reason... Maybe it's because I don't really like team sports? I dunno, it's weird.

Most I've ever needed concurrently was 4 for a weapon: d20 for the attack, d10 for the damage, d6 for the elemental damage, and d4 for the splash :D

Props to everybody in that LoL game last night. It was funs and I had many laughs. Think I'll go back to HoN for the moment though!

Practicing for a tournament. As for preferences, it depends on what mood I am in. If I want to relax I play LoL and when I'm feeling competitive I play HoN.
hey harli can you give me more info into the main differences between the two games as I played Dota for some time but didn't follow on after it.
Sure, there’s nothing I’d love to do more! Prepare for some text, apologies if I get a bit carried away.
In terms of relation to the original DOTA game, HoN is pretty much an exact copy. Some DOTA heroes were ported over albeit with new names and skins (e.g. omniknight, witch doctor, sand king) and the mechanics are still all in place. Creep locations, map layout and items are all very similar, with a lot of them being carbon copies.
You still last hit, deny, tower damage is roughly the same etc. The only major difference is heroes and items – I’d say the hon hero listing is made up of about 15-20% of DOTA heroes with the rest being supplemented by original new heroes.
LoL is a lot more different to DOTA. Items are completely different. Heroes are completely different. A lot of mechanics have changed – you can last hit but not deny, tower damage has been boosted, level cap lowered, map is very different. I think they have made LoL more streamlined to make is accessible to a larger player base and introduce it to people who have not played MOBA’s before because it lacks a lot of the complexities that made DOTA so challenging to pick up; it’s slower, there’s no starter items, no courier, no runes, MUCH lower lvl cap etc.
The result is a game that is slower paced and requires less timed tasking. That being said if you are an experienced DOTA player you should find the transition to LoL easy, and HoN almost exactly the same.

Steve-O uses veig? o.0 blast. oh well xerath looks sort of interesting...
He doesn't use Veig that often as far as I know, since I usually do the AP mid. But he does know how to use him and he does it well. Later game he can burst down almost any non-tank with his spell combo, pretty terrifying

I would like to see your kennen in action and blagh's rammus was something to be admired last night although im sure he could do even more with it

That we're good might be pushing it a bit though. IMO, Graves OP. He's got too much burst for an AD carry, and is good at all stages of the game, even if relatively he's not as good as others late game. Veigar's more of a late game character, I think, with his nuking ability. Just farm that Q like a champ and you'll be right, Dill!

For some reason Last night in the first game my Q mashing skills where Ok and appalling in the second lol Never faced a Graves before that actually fronted me in a team fight so obviously never played against a smart Graves until now lol. I was really surprised we made that comeback, I really thought we were finished when you got to our nexus turrets but we managed to hold then get some great engagements by our team and managed to push all the way back, taking down a few turrets at a time, then suddenly we got all your inhibitors and got all the way through. Intense!
I blame Braghmang and Rocketbuddy for everything.
So Bish Co but i nullified techy early game and nearly killed him on a number of occasions. I thought i did well!
I don't think I saw you at all early game (to be honest, I didn't see anyone at all early game, because I was busy, you know, farming and not ganking), but I gotta say, you'er getting better with those laser snipes and snares. I'm sure you were just blind firing your laser sometimes (some mad misses), but you caught half of our team a few times.

I finally played Portal 2 co-op, and OH MY GOODNESS. That game is amazing.

I should add: I haven't actually gone to the Kiln yet. I have killed all lord soul holders so I know I can, but I'm running about kindling bonfires, killing NPCs and farming for a bit. I know I want to do a lot of that and thought I'd space myself a bit. I did that for about three hours last night (really enjoyed it!) and think I am ready to give the Kiln what for tonight. Then more NG+ prep, then I'll go take on the boss.

I'd heard about this place but it was not somewhere I could remember my husband going to so I'm very much looking forward to exploring somewhere completely unknown to me.
Sen's Fortress ain't so bad, just tread lightly, backstab dem snakey bastards and keep an eye out for pressure plates.

We got our son a cheap TV with built-in DVD player from Dick Smiths for his bedroom because I was going insane from constantly having to be around his shows and movies. Worth every single cent.
This morning after breakfast he asked to be put back into his cot so he could watch a movie. \o/
Hell, for the Lion King I'd travel to wherever you are and take over watching your son so you can do whatever gaming you want. Nothing better than a good Disney marathon
Plus, out of the freakin' Disney vault, limited time only and all that. I saw it in 3D. Bought the Blu-Ray. Ten years of withdrawal cured. :D

I watched Cars 2 the other day. Bad idea. Both for me, and for Pixar.

i know it's novelty, but damn it's going to look cool next to the spectre mouse and my new pc... you know... when it's buit :P

As for the keyboard, I'm sure that it's pretty okay but I like my Ducky.
as far as i am led to believe, it is basically a BlackWidow underneath, minus a few keys... i was massively impressed by the Spectre cause it looks uncomfortable but is actually a really really decent mouse, and i was used to the G5...
i just needed a new Keyboard, my old G15 (the oldschool blue light one) is slowly carcing it and it's about time :P

I dislike how most gaming peripherals light up. They just distract me.
I use a mechanical keyboard too. They're pretty awesome.
The hardest part is learning not to bottom out the keys when you're typing (assuming you have Cherry MX Blue switches, not sure how brown/black/red switches are like) because the keystroke is registered much, much earlier than that.
Which is weird because when I'm using my Apple keyboard, I do type rather soft. It's just that when I see that big hulk of black plastic, my mind thinks I must press more than I need to.
Tis weird.
yeah, i honestly thought that it had mechanical keys, but apparently not... i'm sure i will live though, and i guess i won't get murdered by my other half now when i'm playing due to excessive but oh so satisfying "C - L - I - C - K" each time i push a button... oh well :P
